As someone who loves nature and outdoors, Martina finds that there is nothing better than hiking for days with a backpack on her back, no signal in the phone and far away from the closest human settlement. This kind of experience allows a person to disconnect from whatever was or is to come, and only focus on whatever is here and now to be observed; the changes in weather, the condition of the path, animal and birdlife around, colours of the season. This photo series is a collection of the autumn colours, what is also called ruska in Finnish. The Autumn colours - ruska was captured on the Hetta-Pallas route in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park in Finland in September 2020.
