As a designer at Save the Children Finland, Martina co-created and developed new internal management of volunteer activities at the organisation. She lead 12 workshops using service design methods to bring out best practices, ideas and needs of staff members and volunteers. As a result several new tools and practices were created, including a shared training platform, quality criteria, and volunteer campaigns. All the new organisationally cross-cutting structures and processes are compiled in a volunteer activity manual for staff members.
