Martina Dahm is a designer and interdisciplinary artist.
Well-being of humans and nature
Martina is an advocate for human and environmental well-being. All her practice is fundamentally based on deep respect and appreciation for nature and human rights. This includes recognition of both scientific and traditional knowledges, non-binary thinking and alignment with rights-based and justice movements to contribute to a healthier living environment for all beings and coming generations. Her inspiration and values come from growing up and being in relationship with the seasons and landscapes of southern Finland. In her work she applies this ethos in diverse ways, either through working with a particular topic or by working with natural mediums such as plants, landscapes, natural light, weather conditions or other things.
Design and facilitation
Martina is a professional designer and facilitator. Her core skills are design and systems thinking in combination with strong project management and coordination. For partnerships and collaborations she uses service design and facilitation to create common understanding and intentional action towards shared visions. As a creative she solves problems to real life challenges in small and big scale. She visualises knowledge, designs processes, develops structures, facilitates co-creative workshops and does design research in addition to everyday management of projects. Currently, she is working for Save the Children Finland.
